Asari Dokubo mocks Nnamdi Kanu and declares that IPOB is over

Former Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo declared on Monday that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are defeated.

Dokubo mocked the leader of the outlawed group, Nnamdi Kanu, in a Facebook live video for allegedly denying he is a member of IPOB and his members for justifying it. He went on to say that Kanu has denied the sit-at-home, but he wonders who is to blame for the sit-at-home in the Southeast.

According to Dokubo, the IPOB leader has demonstrated that he is not involved in the struggle by establishing a company with no director or head. This comes after Enyinnaya Abaribe, the lawmaker representing Abia-South Senatorial District, lamented the impact of insecurity in the South East.

He went on to say that the IPOB-called sit-in had a negative impact on the region’s economy because hoodlums had hijacked it and forced it on citizens.

According to Abaribe, when he visited Kanu at the Department of State Security (DSS) detention facility, he denied giving the order for the Monday sit-at-home.

On Monday, Dokubo mocked IPOB, saying, “You (referring to IPOB) are already finished.” I warned you, people. ‘No, it must be by chance.’ You have already completed your task. You haven’t recovered from your shock. First, he (Kanu) denied being a member of IPOB, and you (IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu supporters) attempted to justify it.

“He has now denied sit-at-home, which is good. So, who is doing sit-at-home work? After all of the devastation, Nnamdi Kanu has revealed his true colors, demonstrating that he is not engaged in any struggle. He formed a Limited Liability Company with no directors and no shareholders.”
