Kwara State College Of Health Technology, Offa (KWACOTECH) Announces Admission Form Sales For 2022/2023

This is to notify the general populace that the admission form for the Kwara State College Of Health Technology  2022/2023 academic year is now available online.

The application can only be completed online. The payment will be made through the portal using ATM cards.

Only suitably qualified aspirants can apply. Application commences on Tuesday, 1st February, 2022. Below are lists of courses offered by the institution.

The Fee for the application form is ten thousand naira (₦10,000) only. Payment can only be made online through the portal using ATM cards or visit Kwara State College Of Health Technology.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

Prospective candidates must have completed a National Diploma (ND) program in a relevant field with a minimum credit pass in the final examinations.

Five (5) credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry are required.

Evidence of successful completion of a one-year industrial training (IT) program from a recognized institution

DURATION

Four (4) semesters, or two (2) academic sessions plus a practical attachment, are required.

Pharmacy Technician Certification

The Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN) has approved a refresher course program for Pharmacy Technicians who graduated before 2017 from any PCN accredited College of Health Technology in Nigeria to obtain the Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate necessary to receive admission by DIRECT ENTRY into any Nigerian University offering it.

REMEDIAL STUDIES

This is meant to compensate for O’level deficiencies.

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for remedial studies at the college, with the goal of preparing candidates for automatic admission to any courses of study at the college.

Admission to the College of Health Technology Offa is automatic if the following remedial program is completed:

Obtained a minimum of 2.0 CGP in O’level subjects taken at the college
All necessary O’level deficiencies were remedied.
All successful candidates will be enrolled in courses of their choosing.

BREAKING : SSANU , NASU Join ASUU, Begins Nationwide Strike

Following what it described as the failure of the Nigerian government to react to its letter earlier issued threatening to down tools, the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union of Allied and Educational Institutions (NASU) have declared a two-week warning strike.
