JAMB Warns CBT Centers, Vendors, And Staff Against Storing Of Candidates Data For The UTME/DE Registration In 2022.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has warned all operators of Computer Based Test centres, e-pin vendors, JAMB staff, and others involved in any aspect of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the Direct Entry (DE) registration exercise against keeping any of candidates’ data in order to ensure that candidates are not extorted or subjected to unnecessary pressure. As a result, the Board stated that no official in the registration value chain is authorized to hold applicants’ profile codes, UTME registration numbers, or phone numbers, which they may provide throughout the registration process.
